The Anderson Building joins one of the few North Pacific Marine Laboratories. It provides classrooms, teaching labs, and research labs for faculty and students in the UAS biology and marine biology programs. North Pacific Erectors, as the general contractor, upgraded or replaced major building components including heating and ventilating equipment and controls, the roof membrane and insulation, new toilet rooms, interior finishes, elevator replacement, classroom and laboratory casework and the emergency generator. Interior space is reconfigured to improve effectiveness of the teaching and research areas.

North Pacific Erectors, as a general contractor, has successfully completed a variety of work at Coeur Alaska’s Kensington remote minesite located 45 miles north of Juneau, Alaska. NPE has been involved with Coeur Construction projects over the last 4 ½ years, beginning with the mine process facility at Kensington and ending as recently as December 2010 with the completed construction of the Kensington Tailings Treatment Facility and Comet Beach water treatment plants.

Construct maintenance shop & emergency crew quarters, powerhouse foundations and building, all steel penstock thrust blocks, the transformer/substation foundations, the Bart Lake Dam & Valve Vault intake structure, the Lake Dorothy Lake Tap Tunnel Plug and Dishcharge/Drawdown piping, East Terminal site civil work and all other construction support services.
